The Very Protected Thing, 24.25W x 36H, acrylic on canvas, 2023

This very protected thing began as a canvas print discovered on the side of the road. It was rescued, and nourished, with primer. then dressed in the finest acrylic paints. It was then encased with modelling paste and dressed in scores of acrylic layers of paint. The most protected areas are held in suspension within clear medium.
